Pádraig Ó Snodaigh

Pádraig Ó Snodaigh is an Irish language activist, poet, writer and a former president of the Gaelic League. Ó Snodaigh founded the publishing company Coiscéim in 1980 which has published hundreds of books in Irish since. He has published short fiction; scholarly works such as Hidden Ulster and The Irish Volunteers, 1715-1793; a poetic sequence, Ó Pharnell go Queenie (1991); and several poetry collections, including Cumha agus Cumann (1985) and Cúl le Cúl (1988).
