International Translation Day 2021: Rónán Hession & 20th Century Japanese Writers
Rónán Hession, author of Leonard and Hungry Paul, joins Literature Ireland for a talk to celebrate International Translation Day.
Rónán will discuss the works of Japanese writers in translation, including female Japanese writers who are largely overlooked in the west, and how his reading of these works has influenced his own practice.
