First produced at the Abbey Theatre in 1934, The Resurrection is a one act play set between midnight and dawn of the first Easter Sunday. The plot revolves around three citizens, The Hebrew, The Greek and The Syrian, as they debate the changing face of God in and through Jesus Christ.
