Bliain an Bhandé / Year of the Goddess
One of the major figures in Irish-language writing, Gabriel Rosenstock has consistently explored themes of spirituality through his witty, formally adventurous verse. In his new collection of poems, written in Irish and translated into English by the author himself, he draws on the Indian devotional tradition known as 'bhakti' in order to explore the nature and significance of the goddess.
