Ulick O'Connor
Ulick O'Connor was born in Rathgar, County Dublin, in 1928. He studied law and philosophy at University College Dublin. After practising at the Irish Bar in Dublin, O'Connor wrote criticism, history, biography and poetry. He is a well-known figure in contemporary Irish affairs, and Oliver St John Gogarty himself appointed Ulick O'Connor to be his biographer. He is also known for the autobiographical "The Ulick O’Connor Diaries 1970-1981: A Cavalier Irishman (2001)".
