Tom O'Neill

Tom O'Neill grew up on a farm in Carlow and studied Science in University College Cork. He worked as a Science teacher in South Africa, teaching other teacher how to set up labs, before launching his own E-learning company. He wrote Old Friends: The Lost Tales of Fionn Mac Cumhaill, published in 2010, in an attempt to share the Irish myths he had cherished in his youth with a new generation of readers who were no longer aware such stories existed. O'Neill now lives on a farm in Kilkenny with his family.
