Theo Dorgan
Theo Dorgan was born in Cork where he studied English and Philosophy at University College. From 1989 until 2000, he was Director of Poetry Ireland, the national poetry organisation, and he is currently a member of the Arts Council. His poetry collections include The Ordinary House of Love (1991), Rosa Mundi (1995) and Sappho's Daughter (1998). Among his awards are the Listowel Prize for Poetry, 1992. A member of Aosdána, Theo Dorgan lives in Dublin.
