Sigerson Clifford

Sigerson Clifford was born Edward Bernard Clifford and grew up in Cahirsiveen, Co. Kerry. He was a playwright and poet and some of his ballads, such as The Boys of Barr Na Sráide or The Ballad of the Tinker's Daughter, have been put to music.
