Leigh Sauerwein
1944 -
Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Leigh Sauerwein grew up in Europe, where her father was posted as a diplomat. She studied in Paris and Boston and later settled permanently in France with her family. She has written many books for children, several among them on Native Americans. Literature Ireland has facilitated the translation into Irish of one of these books.
