Jude Collins

Jude Collins grew up on a famr near Omagh in Northern Ireland and studied English and History in University College Dublin. Since 1979 has has been a lecturer in Education at the University of Ulster at Jordanstown. Collins's two short story collections are Booing the Bishop and Other Stories (1995) and Only Human and Other Stories (1998). His first novel, The Garden of Eden All Over Again (2002) won the McCrea Literary Award. His second novel, Leave of Absence, was published in 2005.
