Johann P. Tammen

Johann P. Tammen is a German writer born in Hohenkirchen, Friesland, and works as an editor and organiser of literary events. From 1994 to 2011 he was editor-in-chief of the literary magazine die horen, and since 1980 he edits the book series "Edition Die Horen". As an editor of anthologies like Poesie der Nachbarn ("The Neighbours' Poetry") he is making available selected works of contemporary poets from an impressive range of other cultures for a German audience.
