Emer Martin
Born in Dublin, Emer Martin has lived in Paris, London, the Middle East, and various places in the United States. She studied painting in New York, and, in 2000, she was the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship. Martin produced Irvine Welsh's directorial début, NUTS, in 2007. Her first novel, Breakfast in Babylon, was named Book of the Year 1996 at the prestigious Listowel Writers' Week. More Bread Or I'll Appear, followed in 1999 and Martin's latest novel, Baby Zero, was published 2007. She has just completed her third short film, Unaccompanied. Emer Martin lives in Co. Meath.
