Eddie Lenihan

Edmund Lenihan is a celebrated Irish author, storyteller, lecturer and broadcaster. He is one of the few practising seanchaithe (traditional Irish lore-keepers and tale-spinners) remaining in Ireland. He has been called "one of the greatest of Irish story-tellers" and "a national treasure". His many books for children and adults include Gruesome Irish Tales for Children, In Search of Biddy Early and In the Tracks of the West Clare Railway. He lives in Crusheen, County Clare.
