Dara Ó Conaola

Dara Ó Conaola was born on the Aran Islands. Steeped in folklore and story telling, the secret of the seanchai, the Irish storyteller, is second nature to him, as it is to his translator, Gabriel Rosenstock, a poet and writer in Irish. Thanks to the Engish-language collection of his stories, Night Ructions, his work has been translated into German, French, Croatian and Romanian.
