Catherine Dunne
Catherine Dunne was born in Dublin where she still lives. Originally an English and Spanish teacher, she turned to writing full-time in 1995. Her first novel, In the Beginning, was published in 1997 and followed by A Name for Himself, short-listed for the Kerry Ingredients Book of the Year Award, The Walled Garden, and Another Kind of Life, published in February 2003. Her book on Irish emigrants in London, An Unconsidered People, was her first work of non-fiction.
