Brendan O'Brien

Brendan O'Brien has been a frontline current affairs and news journalist for more than three decades. He is author of two books on the IRA and Sinn Féin and has received several awards for television reporting, including investigations on crime and drugs, poverty in Ireland and AIDS in Africa. O'Brien's latest book, The Story of Ireland (2007), retells Irish history from the Ice Age onwards in a humourous and engaging way.
