Aidan Mathews
Aidan Mathews was born in Dublin and was educated at University College Dublin, Trinity College and Stanford University. Since 1984, he has been a Radio Drama Producer at the Irish national radio, RTE. His works include three poetry collections, four plays and a novel, Muesli at Midnight (1990). The Diamond Body was produced at the Project Theatre in 1984, Exit Entrance followed in 1988 and Communion opened at the Abbey in May 2001. In 1993, Mathews adapted his story Lipstick on the Host from the eponymous collection for the stage. Aidan Mathews lives in Co. Dublin.
