Adrian Kenny

Adrian Kenny was born in Dublin in 1945. He has written two autobiographical novels, Before the Wax Hardened (1991) and The Family Business (1999). His other books include The Feast of Michaelmas (1978), Arcady & Other Stories (1983) and Istanbul Diary (1994). He edited selections from the journals of Arland Ussher, and in 1993 he translated the eighteenth-century Gaelic poet Tomás Ó Caiside into English. He lives in Dublin and is a member of Aosdána.
